Forestry Australia Myrtleford Forum& Field Trip – “Growing a more resilient forest sector in the Murray Valley region”
Our Executive Members Peter Crowe, Phil Clements and Diana Gibbs along with other delegates attended and presented at this recent forum held Friday 18th November.
The aim was to discuss how best to maintain and expand forest-based industries in north-east Victoria and the southwest slopes region of NSW – the Murray Valley timber catchment. 50 people attended from across the plantation industry – growers, contractors and large timber processors. The forum considered land access, processing capacity and key risks for the sector in this region.
