Support Plantation Establishment Program – grant round communication materials

The Australian Government is providing $73.8 million in grant funding over four years from 2023–24 to support the establishment of new plantations.

Grants will be available to private, First Nations, and farm forestry businesses, as well as state and territory government forestry enterprises through the Support Plantation Establishment program. The grants will require applicants to provide a co-contribution equal to the grant amount.

The grant program is scheduled to open later in June 2023 and stakeholders are encouraged to register their interest on GrantConnect, to receive an email notification once the program opens through the Community Grants Hub.
