The Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment want your input on what you think should be included in the strategy to support the Australian Government’s commitment to securing a strong, sustainable, and profitable farm forestry industry.
Work is now underway to develop Australia’s National Farm Forestry Strategy to help build Australia’s future wood resource. If you are a farmer, forest grower, timber processor, investor, member of the forest industry, or belong to a natural resource management body, we want to hear from you!
Farm forestry, often referred to as ‘agroforestry’, is the establishment or management of trees or forests (either plantation or native forest) on private agricultural land.
